boston & craft

[eng] I know, it's for a very long time that I am no posting at my blog. Sorry for them who visit it!

This summer I have been in Boston!! I have discovered a very quiet and friendly city... and very crafty!! Every sunday is open the Sowa Market. This is a big market of artisans, with very lovely handmade stuff made by very creative craft artists from Boston!!

The other two pictures are an example of what you can find walking in Boston... I love Boston!

[cat] Ja sé que fa molt de temps que no escric al blog. Em sap greu per la gent que el visita.

Aquest estiu hem anat de viatge a Boston. He pogut descobrir una ciutat molt tranquila, on la gent és tant hospitalària que et fa sentir com a casa. Vaig tenir la sort de coincidir amb un mercat que es fa cada diumenge que es diu Sowa Market. Ple de paradetes d'artesans que fan unes coses fantàstiques! Ho hagués comprat tot! Quanta creativitat que es respirava.

Les altres dues imatges són un exemple del que em vaig anar trobant pels carrers de Boston... M'encanta Boston!!

shopping at kebonikö

[eng] I went shopping at Kebonikö, an amazing shop in Barcelona, with so much cute items to buy. I couldn't resist, and I took me at home the brooches, the calendar and a print of Cosas Mínimas, after so many time following her work. I have recently knew the pretty things of Lady Desidia, and now I can wear one of her necklaces!
But behind Kebonikö there is Ariadna, who also sells in her shop her lovely creations in felt, I get one of her really pretty rings! You can have a look at her blog.


[cat] He anat de compres a Kebonikö, una botiga que em té el cor robat. Es troba en ple barri de Gràcia de Barcelona, i té tantes coses boniques... No em vaig poder resistir, i vaig comprar unes xapes, el calendari i una impresió de Cosas Mínimas, feia tant de temps que seguia tot el que feia! Fa poc també vaig conéixer les il.lustracions i les agulles de Lady Desidia, i ara ja tinc un dels seus collarets!
Però darrera de Kebonikö hi ha l'Ariadna, una noia encantadora, que també fa uns collarets, agulles i anells de feltre preciosos!! Puc lluïr també un dels seus anells! Si voleu veure les coses que fa, visiteu el seu blog.

bear felt brooch

[eng] This is a little bear Tous version as a funny felt brooch. I made it as a present for my dear niece, she likes it soo much!

[cat] Vaig fer una versió divertida com a agulla de feltre de l'osset Tous. Era un regal per a la meva neboda, li va agradar tant!!!

trompus, the elephant

[eng] I have my best friend living in Germany, so this Christmas I send to her a big package with presents, some of them made by me. One of those was this crocheted elephant based on a Ana Paula's pattern for her little son.

[cat] Una gran amiga meva viu a Alemania, i aquest Nadal li he enviat un paquet amb tot de regals, alguns d'ells fets per mi. Entre altres coses, vaig fer aquest petit elefantet de ganxet, basat en un dels patrons de Ana Paula, per al seu fill petit que tot just acaba de néixer.

felt brooch

[eng] A friend of my work office asked me to make a felt brooch for his wife... and this is the result! They like it so much!! ...and I am sooo happy because this is my first "official" order! ;-)

[cat] Un company de feina em va demanar que li fés una agulla de feltre per la seva dona... i aquest n'és el resultat! Els va agradar molt, a tots dos! ...i jo estic mooolt contenta, perquè aquest és el meu primer encàrrec "oficial"! ;-)

christmas postcards

[eng] Late, but I would like to show you the postcards I've done for christmas. It's also useful: a paper ball or star you can use as a ornament for the tree.

[cat] Una mica tard, però us volia ensenyar les postals que he fet aquest nadal. Són també útils: una bola o una estrella de paper que es pot utilitzar com a decoració per l'arbre.

[cat] Un petit home de neu fet a ganxet!

christmas paper balls

[eng] I made these christmas paper balls last year. I loved them so I have decided to recycled them for this year too! I didn't found the how-to tutorial, but I can try to describe you how they are made. They are so easy to do!!
Cut eigth strips of christmas paper for each ball (you can use old christmas card). Punch a hole in the top and bottom of each strip, stack your eigth strips, and then insert a paper fasteners into the top and bottom holes. Open the fasteners and separate each strip to create a ball. That's all!
Paper strips: 1.5x10cm for a little ball, and 1.5x13cm for the big one.

[cat] Vaig fer aquestes boles de paper pel Nadal de l'any passat. Em van agradar tant que he decidit reutilitzar-les també aquest Nadal. No he trobat la pàgina del tutorial d'n vaig treure la idea, però us ho intentaré explicar. Són molt fàcils!!
Talleu vuit trossos de paper amb motius nadalencs (també podeu utilitzar postals de nadal antigues). Feu un forat a cadascun dels extrems de cada tros de paper, i hi inseriu un fastener en cada forat, tot unint els vuit trossos de paper. Després obriu els fasteners perquè quedin els papers subjectes, i separeu-los, tot formant una bola. Això és tot!
Trossos de paper: 1.5x1cm per la bola petita, i 1.5x13cm per a la bola gran

[cat] Aquests són els anells fets a mà per la mea amiga Miriam. Com en són de bonics!! Quantes estones hem compartit de fer ganxet i treballar amb feltre!! ;-)

[eng] I did this felt Christmas tree using needle felt, and some buttons. I love the result!! Do you?

[cat] Seguint amb l'esperit nadalenc, he fet aquest arbre amb feltre i botons. M'agrada molt com ha quedat!!

[eng] It's time to put some christmas spirit at home! Why not begining with a needle felting elf?

[cat] És l'hora de començar a posar una mica d'esperit nadalenc a casa! Què tal un elf fet de feltre?

green hat

[eng] These days I am working needle felt. It is a little gnome with a big green hat. I was inspired in a photo I saw in a litte felt book, but I don't remember the tittle.

[cat] Últimament faig moltes cosetes de feltre treballat amb l'agulla. Aquest és un petit follet amb un gran barret verd. Em vaig inspirar en una fotografia que vaig veure en un petit llibre alemany sobre feltre, però ara no recordo el nom.
